  • I had to turn the press conference off half way through

The message is repetitive and boring.
    We should of.....
    We are not hungry enough......
    Making poor choices.....
    Disappointing.......

Its been a very consistent theme.

You never find out how a human is wired until they face adversity.
Everyone can be happy, wise and courteous when you keep drawing aces, but hit a run of deuces and the true nature surfaces.

Trent Robinson is losing the players....that is obvious. Same as Michael Maguire.
Both coaches have had a lot of short term success but only delivered one premiership each.

Trent sounds lost. Sometimes I think his monotone and lack of emotion is a huge bonus, at the moment I see it as a negative.
The team needs energy, they need to fire the f up.
That was a disgrace last night.

Ferguson is a nightmare in the centres. Put him on the wing cause he can't read the play.
Guerra was non existent......but I'm cutting him slack cause he was trying really hard when everyone else was out.
Latrine Mitchell sh1ts me. He is an awesome talent but he also costs you tries cause he is just a kid and not really ready for first grade.
The winger made a couple of crucial errors at the wrong time.
    Isaac Liu was crap.

The attack was soooooo boring I couldn't bear watching it
    barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

I will get hammered for this by many but I'd really like to see a more creative option at 9. Even if it's for 30 mins, just to give Jake a break.
I was at the game and the player frustration with attack is so obvious. Friend is a workhorse but he is not a creative player. He is slow out of there and in no way a threat. Someone like Connor Watson or Nikorima could be our Jake Granville.

At the moment it all comes from the 6 and 7 and that is bombs away. They are both half backs imo.

On Trent, I wonder if he does fire up at the players. There is definitely a place for it. It he doesn't then he has problems. You can't have that composed, quiet persona all the time. The players will switch off.

I think most would agree with you John. Friend cannot play 80 minutes. His decision making when fatigued is horrible, that's when the stupid 3rd and 4th tackle kicks come out. He did it again last night on the 4th tackle when we were still in the game and only 30 metres out. Connor Watson showed a sense of urgency when out on the field and didn't seem to lack confidence in trying something different.

Expect more of the same for the rest of the season. Our 2017 started at the end of 2015.

          Chook.

Garvey off the bench for 30 minutes could work. It won't happen though.

Interesting to hear Robbo's criticism of Latrell last night, said he made a lot of errors with the little things..
As much as I am a believer of this great Club, our performance last night was reserve grade stuff, something is definitely wrong..
Also the excuse of missing players can't be used,if anyone thinks SKD would've made a 20 point difference is in total denial..

Don't think it was nessecary to criticise Lattrel last night in the press conference when there was more senior players out there that had a worse game and made more errors than Lattrel.

Its the same old words every press conference this year by Robinson accept the one where get got fined 40k.

Combination of Friend, Pearce and Hastings is to predictable. We need some variety and spark.

Why does Robbo persist with Tupou?? He has to be the laziest player in the competition. His body language oozes non-commitment. Burgess is not looking like the future. Latrell clearly has talent but he's too raw. It's not fair on him that the retention/recruitment committee didn't do their job and allow him a few seasons on the wing. As for Robinson, clearly he can not inspire the team. His tactics are tired and pedestrian. He offers nothing new. It seems that 2013 had less to do with Robinson and more to do with Paul Green. Time to fall on his sword.

I'm not a Robinson fan. He's yet to convince me he's a great coach. Last 2 years the Roosters have bombed out of the finals. Both times rather embarrassingly. He still has a great roster. I think after 4 years, it's time for a change.
Btw, anyone who still thinks the roosters can make the 8, take a look at the draw from round 19 onwards.
                    It's like reading a horror story .

My opinion of last night was that our defence was so poor that we NEVER got any attacking ball. If it wasn't for the fact the Titans can't find a white line at a dinner for fashion models, the score woulda blown out even more.

IMO the Titans were as surprised as we were. They just showed up hoping to spoil the ball and slow us down. Instead they ended up with all the ball with NFI what to do with it.

WORST GAME EVER!! And yeah... Jake/Trent sounded like a bunch of used car salesmen during a 5 hour morning pep talk. WE'RE NOT SELLING RUSTY OLD DATSUNS BECAUSE YOUR ATTITUDE IS WRONG!!!! YOU GUYS DON'T HAVE THE WINNING MENTALITY!!! IT'S ALL IN THE MIND!!!

Yeah no... they're not selling rusty Datsuns because they are shyte cars that nobody wants. Roosters aren't winning because we're playing a shyte brand of football that nobody likes to watch (except the opposition when they are getting 70% of possesion after coming off a 38-0 loss.)

LOL us make the 8? That's a good one! The sad thing is that it's not even 1/2 way through the season!!! Seriously guy!!!

Remember in 2009 when Willie Mason said he was confident we could make the 8 when we had to win 15/15 or something? Now we're in the same position (if not worse... we won 5 games that year and haven't won 1/2 that number yet!) Can the season just end?

I actually thought Tupou played way better than he has been last Monday......he has been woeful prior to that!
