Maybe we could give the corner post a run to replace Guerra in defence

I want to see the coach decide who he wants to play half back, Pearce or Hastings and then find a 5/8, maybe Matterson.

We ain't playing finals. I've never been so embarrassed with my team at a game. Something has to give and Pearce and Hastings play exactly the same way for mine. That was the beauty of Maloney. A great foil for Pearce.

FFS the main reason our season started the way it did was too many debutants.

IMO moving forward, this should be full strength lineup:

Mitchell
Toops
Elliot
Fergo
SKD
Hastings
Pearce
JWH
Friend
Napa
Cordner
Aubusson
SST

Liu
Evans
Moa/Papalli
Matterson/Watson

I was a fan, but i'm now done with Guerra. He is simply not playing with the intensity, fitness and desire required of first grade. Aubusson starts IMO.

Elliot continues to be criminally underrated on here. IMO he is better than both Burgess and Toupo and needs to be in the lineup permanently.

I'd like to see Papalli get more time in firsts. A lot of potential and would have great impact off the bench. I'd rest Moa some weeks and bring him in for the experience.

Both Matterson & Watson need game time, but definitely not starting - bench only.

Wholesale changes are not needed, although I still think the team loses a lot in general play by having Latrell at FB at this stage of his career. But now that Coote is off the market, i think we have no choice but to persevre.

We have a very good team. The tide will turn...........

I think Pearce runs the ball a lot when he shouldn't and Hastings simply doesn't run (except the last few minutes when the game was gone) I think Matterson looks more like a natural footballer than both of them

Must admit I was never one to rate Billy Elliot, but yes he deserves a longer stint in 1st grade, he has a crack and is much more confident taking the ball than others

Connor Watson needs a bench spot, he is the spark in attack, esp from dummy half we sorely miss

I am a fan of Watson, but he has a tendency to kick early in attack. It happened a couple of times on his debut and I think he also done it in his debut for Australia. However I think it is just a product of playing in the Toyota cup. He seems to have a bright future in our game.

Yes, as long as SKD plays no 4 and Fergo only plays on a wing.

After watching the city/country match I wouldn't mind seeing Matterson given a run in the centres with Elliott outside him.. Toops is bloody useless.
