NFL to play for Fiji in 7's at RIO !!

  • #2
Yes very odd news about that. Not sure what to make of it but I think that even if he returns to the NRL, he'll go back to Parra first, if they make room for him. Then again he might have another dream, to play Davis Cup.

      Not all there
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

I'd say he got tapped on the shoulder and left of 'his own' accord to chase his other 'dream' ???

Why rugby 7's, isn't it just a glorified mickie mouse rugby comp ?

The bloke has wasted the better part of his career doing nothing in the us, and now he wants to come back and play 7's ? Can't really understand that.

Life long dream that just happened to be mentioned yesterday. Hayne is the next quade cooper, SBW.

Except Quade Cooper and SBW have both won premierships.

IMO an olympic medal is a massive thing. Can't really think of anybody who wouldn't want to win one. I'd love to see Fiji win one. They're a really lovely country, I have a special thing for their people after visiting.

I'd say it became a lifelong dream the moment the 49ers tapped him on the shoulder

The summer Olympic Games are the most prestigious sporting event in the world there is nothing Micky Mouse about it.

Jarryd Hayne will probably return to Parramatta Eels after their salary cap drama which would be absurd.

                        1. Hayne
                        2. Tupou
                        3. Latrell
                        4. Fergo
                        5. SKD

                        Beast of a backline.

International eligibility laws are a joke though. In league Australia is the best and Fiji are shit so hayne will play for Australia. In 7s Fiji are the best so he will play for Fiji and not Australia. I don't understand how you can just pick and choose what nationality you are based on how well that team is playing in their respective sport. The poaching of semi to play for Australia was the last nail in the coffin for me.
