What nonsense. Robbo is a great coach and will have us back at the top before too long.

Having said that, some of his team selections and interchange use this year have been questionable. Other posters have mentioned his loyalty to some under-performing players which is mighty frustrating. But I do echo the Artie's view above in thinking that next year we will be very strong.

Well done Robbo for finally speaking up about the refs.
I give you credit for that.

I'm yet to actually see any real criticism of Trent Robinson other than the typical generalised bullshit "can't coach" "has been found out" "no SBW no Trent".

Today he made some huge changes to the team when you think about it and admittedly I thought to myself before the game that we might get exploited for it.

Our left edge was Burgess - SKD - Matterson - Cordner. Not one of those players has ever defended besides each other at any level of the game yet our line never got broken down that side of the field and looked the more likely side in attack. I think moving SKD over there to add some experience in between Burgess & Matterson was a little touch of genius.

Moving Elliott over to the right edge seemed to add some stability too, the Dragons peppered our right edge all game but came away with nothing. I'm pretty sure you'll find that's the first game all season we haven't conceded a linebreak down our right edge.

Having faith in Matterson and the work that had gone into him pre-season to bring him in after only 1 game for Wyong returning from a broken leg was a very bold call. One not many coaches would have the courage to do in such a big match.

All that aside In our last 5 games we've lost by a combined total of 13 points. We're not far off at all.

            Here's a little game to play when you've got some free time. Pick any roster int he league and do the following;

            - Remove the following players due to inflation in the salary cap, elite fullback (RTS), elite centre (Jennings), support half (Maloney), 5th choice prop (Matagi)
            - Remove the following players due to injury, forward leader (JWH) elite backrower (Cordner) & elite lock (Taukeiaho)
            - Remove the following player due to suspension, organising half (Pearce).

Now with a straight face tell me with a straight face that any of them would be doing better.

              Agree Axe.

I'd rather lose by plenty than play like those Dragon bitches on such an important day.

Robbo has been poor this year. His decision to try Ferguson as a fullback, throwing Niko to the wolves, his terrible use of the bench.

Our squad has been decimated partly by injury, sure, but also partly by what you'd have to assume we're his and the club's retention/recruitment **** ups as well.

He gets a pass up to this week IMO due to the unexpected absence of Pearce, but if our form continues down this road all season he'd better have some big changes planned for 2017 if he wants to keep his job.

Unless the players stop playing for him (like Ricky in 06) he's as safe as a bank.

And TBH there is no coach I would prefer.

This reminds me of my x wife.... While we were making millions for YEARS I was the best bloke ever.... Soon as we took a hit all the insults and blame came out...
Wake up, for we have had great years in 2010,13,14,15 and now we have lost a few games after playing with kids on the field and u want to sack the coach...Yea he drops the ball or throws intercept passes or ruins a 4 or 1 overlap... Remember Andrew Johns is our halves coach... so sack him too then...
