You reckon it's related? I felt that was a bit of a non-issue that we all moved on from.

IMO it was a BS charge. While he got convicted, the cops came around and hassled his family for no reason. He then told them to get farked and leave his brother alone (aggressively - but IMO likely no more aggressively than your average kid who gets a warning for such behaviour) and they charged him with telling them to get farked (when they had no substantive reason to be hassling his family in the first place.) I wasn't too worried about it, and don't think the club were either.

Reminds me of the other night. We have some kids in the apartment across from us who have lots of parties and burn lots of 'incense.' Somebody told the cops to go around and get them to shut up. So I got home from work (late, around about 9:00) and there were 7 cops in the hallway banging on their door. The neighbours are d*ckheads, but 7 cops and arresting a few of them for minor offences was over the top IMO. I reckon Jennings' arrest was similar... over-policing and throwing the book at people when a warning would do the job.
