He put the fire out a number of times, especially near the end, defended well apart from one questionable read in the first half and even then he had to make a decision imo commit to Inglis in the lead up to Gray's try, he fails to go inside probably a short ball is delivered to Inglis and he probably goes under the sticks. He also looked dangerous with the ball and made a few tackle busts and used the fend well and has the ability to set up the outside man. He is not an outstanding player but he played a very good centre's game considering the conditions, he looks to be a fast learner and is becoming a solid first grader.

Congrats to Brendan, he did some good things and has played solidly the last two games. I get the feeling he is doing exactly as asked by the coach.

Nothing flash but always reliable. Putting useless Copley there ahead of him was pathetic.
When Burgess trapped Toups in goal that was ridiculous. Any other winger in the comp would have gotten out.
I love Toups but he has a lot of improving to do.

Yeah I remember that one, he did a few of them last week, where he lets the guy get on the outside of him and then just reels him in. That little tactic will be fraught with danger against Roberts or Jennings

Loved the way the hipster offers them space out wide & then collars them

That one on Inglis was gold

Hipster shows class - a bit of a Aubo in a sense of being a top 1st grader. The rag doll on Inglis last night a rarity. Yet to see another player do it to Inglis. I just wish Fergo watched his opponents feet in his rush up defence style as it not working so he could take a leaf out of the hipsters book. If Trent leaves Elliott in top grade he will have a standout season.

So many swing posters on here its just not funny.

Elliott is no Michael Jennings but he sure is a good club centre that will always do his best for the Roosters so I say pick him every week because he is the best centre the club has at the moment.
