  • I love the chooks and always will.

Isn't it seasons like this that really show the true character of players, fans and people involved within the club. I think as a fan base we have been very spoilt to be produced with a stunning representative like team 3 years in a row.

There was absolutely no doubt that we would be affected from the loss of players, injuries, and suspension of some of the leagues best players. Some out of our control and some mistakes from players and the club.

But isn't it times like these where you just want to stand up and be a rooster fan more than ever? Isn't it times like these where a winning season and especially years like 2013 seem so amazing.

We need to be grounded, especially with all the young talent, but the roosters will rise. That is a given. We are the Eastern suburbs roosters and we will rise.

Well said Bowzy. I love our club even if BAW claims I'm a 40 year bandwagon supporter!

I live in Brisbane but have supported the Roosters since 1971...
My first footy jersey as a kid when I was 5 was an Easts Tigers Brisbane jersey...
Saw that there was an Easts team playing out of Sydney, so jumped on board...
Have never jumped ship throughout the good & bad times & never will...
      Loyal till the end...
I was born in 1966 when we never won a game...

I'll be here next year regardless of what happens in 2016...
Slow start to the season but I see the light at the end of the tunnel...
      It's dim, but it's there...

I love the club like as much as any other supporter here but I don't let that stand in the way of my calling things the way I see them.

Going to road trip as much as possible to support the boys when they need it most this year. Crossed Canberra off the list last week. Will cross Gosford off next. Up the chookies.
