  • Eloni Vunakece, critically analyse in 500wds or less...

28 years old, seasoned NSW Cup player, plays for Fiji, has cool hair and does garbo runs as his other job.

Maybe he's the character we need? Like a Chabal... an iconic player who can lift our spirits during tough times. Would love this guy to be a 2016 success story!!

    What are your thoughts?

        How off putting.

I would say the match plan would not give Vunakece/Papalii much game time, only injuries would force Robinson to use them over a extented period.

We may as well bring back Michael Appleby.

I think he'll be a bit out of his depth, but would love to be proven wrong, would make a great story.

If the likes of Josh Starling, Ben Creagh & Dave Tyrell are of NRL standard then Eloni belongs too.
He will pleasantly surprise many via his enthusiasm, aggression & high work rate.

I have heard he is as tough as nails - let's be real he won't be needed for his finesse as long as while he is out there he can Run hard , Hit hard with reduced errors he will be fine.

He'll be fine - it's not as if his team mates are setting the standards bar very high this season.

If he can manage the basics of playing footy (ie; run, tackle, catch ball) he'll be doing better than many in the team.

His name generates some good anagrams:

                              Cave Leek Union
