  • Using the foot to play the ball

The nrl is meant to be cracking down on it this season apparently.

Maybe I am seeing things, maybe I am biased. But I feel like our players are all this year using their foot rather than rolling the ball under their feet. But watching the Cowboys, I felt that many of their play the balls were just rolling under their feet and same with the dogs players yesterday and to a smaller extent even parra.

The nrl body is a joke.

The game is being is being officiated through a loose interpretation of the rules of the game, with many being arbitrarily applied in their true form depending who is officiating and at different times of a game..

**** me we're clutching at straws now. Our squad at this stage simply is not of first grade standard, hence we will finish in the bottom 4, that is the issue

The one and only true AXE - Bunny Reilly was the best exponent with playing the ball.A two handed technique where the foot and ball connected at the same time- super fast.

          Spot on.
A "crack down" in nrl speak is just giving the game managers more weapons to influence results.
