Hasn't he been on the payroll at the nights, parra and manly before us? Great player but Shit coach. His brother is the exact opposite. I believe that Matthew had a lot to do with Cooper Cronk early in his career. And on MMM he didn't sound very enthusiastic about his current gig with us, saying it's a short turnaround this week, and he is busy doing other things!

Hastings is doing fine, it is some of the senior players performances on and off the field that is the problem

I know its modern times & all that but I cant work out why there is a need for all these positional coaches.
One of the sayings I hear most from ex players "is how the game has changed since they played" yet teams hire ex players to coach current players the fine art of a certain position. I actually think Hastings would know more about what go's on out in the middle than what Johns would.

I did, what are you trying to say? I do not blame Hastings for what is happening, that does not mean i think Johns is a good coach, his track record is very poor, Hastings form last year was very good, since then his kicking game has gone backwards, is it because of injury or is what he is being shown is not working.

It is either all the halves he has worked with were duds or he is a dud as a coach, i say its the latter
