If I were able to write about it, I would say that it would have to do with a Roosters player not currently playing.

I have read the article a few times and to be quite honest find nothing unusual about it , every teams' " Senior " or " leadership " group should get together after each game and go over the lessons learnt so a united front can be portrayed when addressing the whole team.
Lets see if they sod the lesson to the collective today at Canberra .
"It's knowing our role and turning up and delivering it,"
With the speed of the game this year it is imperative to apply this from the first whistle, slow starts will find you behind on the score board.

Is it abnormal for players to meet and discuss tactics for the next week after being thrashed? I don't see discussing how senior players can better support the juniors as being a problem.

Nobody has it right yet. Media will tell you Brisbane kicked arse last night and are big premiership contenders as a result, but having watched a pretty scrappy game I can't buy into that. Warriors were playing like poo, and were down to 15 men (injuries use up your interchanges too, so they really kill you under the new rules!!!!) There were a lot of funny calls against the warriors and free penalties for Brisbane (who were playing at home). This artificially inflated Brisbane's scoreline a little, but they were knackered by the end and failed to put the desperate Warriors to the knife.
I don't think there's any clear 'winners' yet, and we are all still getting used to the new interchange rules.Last edited by ism22; 03-12-2016, 09:28 AM.

So much of what is here is spot on.
Our bench balance for the Souths game, was right off, the PTB is so much faster now and power plays direct at the middle designed to catch the Big Boys out - it worked cause we were too slow to react.
The way Brisbane seemed to get the " Benefit from game managers " was so obvious too the point of sickening, this has been discussed before but as long as decisions are discretionary there is little we can do other than take notice.
There is also nothing more certain than this will be an open field right to the finish line for everyone.
