Really this sort of thing only happens to Roosters players Some of you are deluded I recall a ceratin player missing a finals match and the opener for rnd 1 this year for throwing a water bottle from the sideline

Rightly or wrongly i think it was more the fact that he was being treated by the trainer when the ball was thrown at him.
To be honest tho, if the act of throwing a ball at a player starts a brawl, then why shouldn't that be punished to the same degree as the first person running in.
