  • Don't kick the ball over the opponent's dead ball line

If you kick the ball dead you're pretty much giving away 30 metres. That's like giving away a penalty.
Tonight poor old Jamie did it in the last few minutes and the Bulldogs won the game with the last play.
On Sunday SOH did it and the rabbits got on a roll.
    It's a real momentum changer.

        Good point!!!!!!

Yeah I know what he means, your in the last 3 minutes and fatigue so why put in such a kick as I think Soward should have maybe passed it around and even gone down with the ball. I thought Penrith were the better team clearly on the night as it is wrong to lose games that way especially if you defended better and ball control was more discipline than the opposition.

A lot of critics have criticise our halves pairing but Reynolds & Mybe are the worse in the NRL as I have never seen a team not have many 5th tackle options with a kick or lack of creativity than Canterbury. HOw many times last night did they get tackled with the ball on the 6th tackle?

Mbye is a gun of a player. Needs to improve his kicking game though. Reynolds is the let down. How can you play 5/8 and not pass the ball both sides? Soward played out of his skin last night almost a perfect game but that one error did indeed cost them.

              Both teams' halves were great.

Remind me, did we ditch Soward to keep Pearce? I'd swap them now in a heart beat.

So Soward should have gome to the ground with the ball on the last (which I tend to agree ) But you bag the Canterbury halves for doing the same thing .You are off you head Aboud Mbye was brilliant last night and won them the game single handedly set one up scored 2

I was watching the game with about 30 people and everyone said " don't kick it dead" . Should've taken the tackle giving the dogs 90 meters to go with 6 tackles only, which may have won the game for the chocolate soldiers

The rule is stupid and arbitrary. It has not changed a thing in the game other than giving an unfair advantage of seven tackles. It's not recognised in the international rules and it should go!

They are 2 from 2 & have probably the best coach in the game. The Dogs will finish higher than the Roosters & are a great chance of winning the comp unfortunately.
And for anyone not to have the dogs in the top 8 have got no idea. Under Hasler Canterbury will make the 8 every year.
