  • Jimmy Jenko RTS 2016

I know some don't care about these dudes as they are in different colours now, but I am curious as they were part of our premiership and to see how they go under different coaching, structures and culture to where they have gone.

I know it's only round one but I don't know if jenko or rts are going to reach the heights like they did with us. I have more hope for Jimmy but that miss from rog made me get over him a little. So glad the club doesn't pay overs for players winding down (jenko, Jimmy) and that they didn't get into a bidding war for Roger. That said I hope they have good seasons apart from when they front up to us. Might take some time from our end too but excited for the youth to perhaps stick together for some time to come.

It starts in less than 24hrs fellow chooksters, and I'm glad I renewed this year no matter what happens.

    GO EASTS

Jennings will struggle in the absence of genuine ball playing halves. Pearce and maloney suited Jennings I think. Rts will take time but will kill it. I wonder more about Jimmy. Good forwards to play off of but garbage outside backs.

Jennings was a match winner for us a couple of times, but a lazy one that hardly went looking for the ball.
Shrek has been figured out by all the other teams so its doubtful he will have the impact he has
Maloney is the only one I think will make a huge difference to his new team

Maloney will make no difference at all if Ennis keeps starving him.

Good luck to them all - except when they're playing us.

Well all of them lost this week... for better or worse.

End of the day it's professional so I don't blame them for leaving:
              - Maloney got told that we were backing a high profile ex-player's son ahead of him (before he had even played NRL)
              - RTS got offered $800k (seriously, I'd question his intelligence if he said no to that)
              - Jenko got sick of the long drives each day and Copley came on the market (IMO he will prove himself as a gun this season... Hodges said he was Origin grade 2 years ago). This worked out for both of us.

All 3 contributed to our premiership in a meaningful way so I will always respect them.

All will struggle without our structure.

Rubbish! Their class was @ the school of Bondi under head master Trent. Yes they have their god given talents but those talents are useless when instructed by librarians.

RTS and Jennings were rubbish and Maloney was unhappy, wonder how Matagi went.

Daniel Mortimer scored points in the Warren Ryan medal.
