Latrell to fullback when Pearce returns

As tempting as it might be to play Latrell Mitchell at fullback the Roosters at his stage cant. Having a 18 YO (Mitchell) a 19 YO (Nikorima) and a 20 YO (SoH) at fullback, 5/8, & halfback is just to risky for NRL footy so this is why Latrall has to start on the wing. If & when Pearce returns I think then Latrell will revert to fullback allowing Fergusson & SKD to revert back to their better positions.

If the Roosters can win 5 of their first 10 games & then have Pearce JWH & Cordner return with Latrell Fergusson & SKD all reverting to there better positions the Roosters will be highly competitive & probably the only team in the comp to challenge the Broncos for the comp presuming they are all fit.

I like that prediction. At least Fergo won't be under that much pressure as nobody much gives him a chance of succeeding. Fergo is one of the most explosive players I have seen. He may well be a sensation.

Still think it's a shame to break up the fergo/SKD combo.

Latrell lacks top grade experience, but he's played a lot more fullback than Fergo.

The Holmes hype is easy to understand if you use his highlights reel as sole judgement.

8 weeks is along time in football, it will be game by game for the boys. As long as he been here, Pearce will need to earn some respect, Im not sure the boys will be there with open arms for him.
