I've heard that the players are actually really excited at training. That they've never seen anyone as young as nikorima settle into the halves so well. And that our attack will be much more varied with Hastings and nikorima as opposed to the structure of Pearce and maloney.
Maybe we will have a similar year to 2010.

What Pearce did turned out to be a dumb thing because he was filmed if he wasn't filmed he would be in the side probably at 5/8 with Hastings at 1/2 so as soon as he is available he will go straight back into the halves and that would be the best thing for the Roosters. We can all get excited about a rookie having a blinder on his debut but it was against weak opposition. Im not saying Nikorima isn't a good player but he is only warming the seat at this stage. Pearce is needed big time because if Hastings or Nikorima get injured then the Roosters will struggle.

Pearce can stay in Thailand as far as I'm concerned.

We will be on perhaps 3 wins for the season come Round 8 in my opinion and Ray Stehr & his band of instant gratificators will slam them. I predict the following sentiments: 'He is not first grade material, throw the checkbook at Cronk', 'Robbo has to go', 'POS must be sacked'
Looks like you were spot on about the number of wins, but didn't think it would be for the whole season!
Spot on with the calls for sackings too

Was it a blessing in disguise that we found out Pearce is actually better than Nikorima? We've now tried out every young half the club has to offer, so for the next few years people can stop going 'SACK PEARCE AND USE THE U20'S HALF INSTEAD!!!'
To me that will be a big blessing.

Selection by potential, is nothing but a dream with an un known outcome with out allowing the proper development.
