Well that is something like $1.8m sitting on the sidelines for the first couple of months at least and probably the top 2 candidates for being the captain this year.

    We are farrked now!

I have been told he is a fast healer.

This season is now officially a write off.

I will be a miracle if we make the finals.

Ryan Matterson & Mitchell Frei will come into calculations as well.

Its going to be a tough ask without our strike back-row forward and JWH out to start the season.

Add to that our depth lacking with the highest 5 day turn arounds out of all NRL teams you can see some tough periods ahead.

Im honestly trying to focus on positives regarding the development of Dylan Napa, Issac Lui 4th Year in 1st Grade, Kane Evans and SST now emerging.

I expected another push for the Premiership, but its looking more likely we're going through a re-tool of the squad and looking towards 2017-18 as years we drive up recruitment and challenge.

Guerra and Aubbo are good 80min players, with Interchange low (down to 8) maybe we will play a faster game plan with so much experience gone.

The season is long and anything can happen.

Well... if we sneak into the finals at full strength then anything can happen.

              Injuries and momentum are everything.

              Just trying to be positive

                That's delusional - not positive.

This has been the shitiest off season ever, with daylight second. If losing RTS and Maloney wasn't bad enough, but I expected late last year, that Pearce, Jennings & Cordner, three of our origin players, to be crucial for us this year.
We can't afford ONE injury to a senior player.

Not a good start to the season.
I think we will finish around 6th now with a poor start to the season.
Having so many players not playing the full season I think we will win the comp with Pearce, JWH and Cordner firing due to playing about 1/3 less games then most the other players in the comp.

did Ryan Matterson rupture his Achilles?
