The players you've mentioned. Moa possibly as he was hot property after 2013. Fergo, Cords, Maubs and Napa thereabouts.

Cords is still on a contract from a couple years ago, wouldn't be on too much. I'd say Napa, Moa and Maubs would be on similar money. I have no idea what Fergo might be on.

If they sent SKD then I'd say he's in the top 5.

You'd expect that this year we'll see:
- Mitchell
- Toops
- Elliot
- SKD
- Burgess
- Liu

Will all get a go? Anasta's played firat grade for years... and Slime-ankle might get a go too? And Cronish/Nikorima would be about the same odds of being a utility? Raiders wanted him and we paid a bit to get him when his big brother Mitch Cornish was supposedly bound for bigger things (with little brother Tyler seen as having even more potential - then Ricky Stuart started coaching and the whole team went to shyte).

Looks like a rubbish team, but look at other 9's teams (they are of similar quality). It's a chance to give people a go without risking a lot. If we REALLY wanted we could put in a full-strength team, win the cash (which we don't need - we are a rich club) and grit our teeth every time JWH, Cords, Guerra, Friend, Hastings, Fergo,...etc take big hits and get up gingerly. Not worth it IMO.

It looks like the 9's is a reward for a tough off-season for the fringe players.
