Makes no sense. He plays September and October with no preparation. Just silly to suggest it unless he skips 7s but why would he?

As much as I'd love it, I can't see it. His goal is the Olympics.

Money always makes sense, SBW Management are trying to find a way, could be with us before Aug

2 year package could result in more players moving on in 2017....Guerra what's he on?

Need Sonny to stop the BS.

Sonny is goal oriented, not financially. Why would he give up his Olympic dream which is on track to becoming a reality for a few bucks?

Sonny will be here next year. Time for a year in the house of pain.

                    Surely Cords ain't that expensive.
After losing rts, Maloney , Jennings and others, I got the impression we were saving for a rainy day?

                    It's bloody pouring now.

Not sure Jennings was released specifically for cap pressure in order to upgrade cordner. Cordner is here for 16 anyway, we could have just let Jennings go at the end of the year and put that into upgrading cordner/Hastings new deals for 17. Jennings just wanted out so the club decided to let him go a year early and grab Copley at a discount.

one report states that we have about 1.5 million free now that rts, maloney and jenko left. If that was true, then not sure how boyd isn't already tied up.

Probably should, previous reports on Cordner holding a gun to our head don't add up.
                          Media guessing game?
Uncle Nick or anyone privy to the correct figures are never gonna let these hack journalists know what's going down in surf city.

No way we go from such a well run club to a shambles in 12 months.
Maybe they're planning for 2017 already?
Otherwise Cordner will be earning more than Thursten.

I think we're planning ahead, but I remain confident we'll do ok this year as well.

I just don't see it. We wouldn't have lost so many gun players if we were in such a commanding salary cap position with no stars on the market. Going into a season 1.5 Mil below the salary cap makes no sense.
