I think Hayne would return to league a better player than what he was when he left. I don't subscribe to the theory that the loss of body weight and 18 months out of the game would be detrimental. This is a guy who has been playing NRL since 2004, and now he's had a period where he's played about an hour of footy. He would be fresh and raring to go
