I don't believe we have any less chance of be as good a team with our current line up in fact in 2016 our pack and bench is better, Skids, toups, are better, fergo better than Jenko, IMO the potential of both teams at the start of their respective seasons almost cancel each other out. If Souffs can win it with Reynolds and Creary we'll be right.

The key difference in these two squads named are in the fullback, five-eight and halfback position. There would be 600 first grade games plus a lot more representative football played between the three players in season 2013 while two of our three players in season 2016 are yet to debut in first grade and those so two players are also teenagers. We just cannot expect such a young and inexperienced spine to be able to pick up the hang of first grade football immediately and it will be a development that takes time unfortunately.

Did Moanly win in 2011 with a pretty young pair of halves in Foran and DCE?? Sure they had experience around them, but so do we if we end up with Niko and SOH in the halves.

Who would you prefer in your halves - Niko and SOH or the Panfers 'experienced' injury prone duo of Soward and Wallace. I know which pairing I'd prefer and it's not the experienced one.

Correct Novice.. And as we all know and have seen, talented players in their debut seasons are hard to predict by other teams allowing them to have great first seasons.. The great ones back it up after that and I think we have a trio of great ones..

It all comes down to your pack and spine. Our pack is in the top four in the NRL but our spine without Pearce and his experience would currently be in the bottom four.
