After being embarrassed as a club and put in the spotlight. Cameras being shoved in their faces while walking to training. Getting hammered with questions to the extent where friend lost his temper and had to push a microphone out of his face. How does the boys respond to this. As a TEAM. Their captain has just humiliated himself and the team, the younger guys looked up To Pearce as a senior player. Does this motivate us ? Make us stay intact for the rest of the year?? Will they self impose a alcohol ban? Or will the damage of this offseason shatter us. Will we lose all team morality ?

Then after 5 rounds when they don't play to your lofty standards, you and others will savage them.
To blood two spine rookies at once, regardless of talent and potential, is a bit mad.
EDIT: not saying you personally would savage them, but many fans would

If we're to blood young nikorima and Mitchell because of this, I'm willing to sign a pact of to never criticise them all year regardless of performances. We need to rebuild and savaging youngsters on their debut season does not help. I'll put up with some pain for a long term gain.

I'd like Reynolds for 1 year, as a straight swap for Pearce. One Premiership-winning half for another, while we build for 2017.Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...
