Originally posted by Thirteen View PostI've known since October that Pearce was involved in another incident that was covered up by the club. The media did not get hold of the story but from what I have heard it was bad and Pearce was reprimanded.
The club will be taking this into account when they make their judgement.
So it's 3 strikes now. Not 2.
Are you a club supporter or what?

I bet BC is happy he doesn't have to deal with the fallout from all this.Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

I wont be surprised if you're right Thirteen.
However if DT are right and that we are simply going to fine him and give him a 6 match ban, then that tells me the Roosters have either:
A) Not learnt their lesson, and Uncle Nick or Robbo truly love Pearce too much to cut him
or
B) This is only his second time he has screwed up

It is ok having a drink in a mates place It is not ok behaving the way he did. Yes it was in private but as I have said earlier, there is no such thing as private when you are with other people now. Big Brother is everywhere lead by our hand held devices. So it doesnt matter where you are whom you are with how drunk or out of it you get you must now be mindful of how you act and behave at all times becasue there is always some chancer or mongrel dog who is waiting to film you being the fool and or disgracing yourself The sooner younger people realise this and the sooner Parents and schools start educationg young kids about this the better off people will beI respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

You probably are Thirteen. Which will make it even more interesting to see what punishment is handed to Pearce. If they give him another chance, then he clearly has the right connections up the top with uncle Nick and his father on the commission.
I also wonder what it will do to Robbo if he wants him gone, but uncle Nick and Wayne Pearce put pressure on the Roosters not to sack him.

I wouldn't be surprised if the clubs decision will be based on being able to find an adequate replacement with experience at short notice. Cooper Cronk along with Adam Reynolds and Luke Keary have all been tossed up as being potentially available. Of those I would take Cronk in a heart beat....

Horses for courses mate.
Fergo - committed his "crime" while at Canberra, nothing to do with us. Got sacked, served his time.
Friend - Got sacked. Served his time and came back a better player
Jenko - First time he screwed up with us, the boom gate scenario, he got fined and stood down (note with this Pearce situation, this is not his first indiscretion with us)
