There would be due process that Pearce would have to go through.
Everyone in the media is trying to milk this for all they can get.
Some even saying that Pearce tried to have s3x with the dog without even seeing the video.
I doubt he will be sacked though to the disappointment of many here.
I don't condone what he did but I don't think it is a sackable offence.

I can think of lots of rookies that have managed to play all season long.
Some are even rumoured to have survived........
Out with the deadwood !

As a co-captain at our club one would expect Pearce to be setting a good example for the rest of the playing group, especially the younger blokes. He should be someone our young'uns aspire to be like. Instead he's a good advertisement on what not be as both an NRL player and a person. At the age of 26 there are no more excuses.
What worries me is that in a footy club, the young blokes tend to learn habits off the senior blokes. And if any of our young'uns are following Pearce's lead, then we are up shyte creek basically.
Pearce has shown he doesn't learn from his mistakes, in fact each one is worse than the last. So what happens next, when he decides to go on a bender???
Pearce needs help, and the club should be providing plenty of that in relation to counselling, rehab etc. But I believe its time to cut on-field ties, as the bloke has shown he cannot be trusted to behave himself in a manner that is required by the club.
Short term pain for long term gain perhaps?

Totally agree Especially the last sentence which is applicable to both the club and Mitch himselfWhen you trust your television
