If we want to keep him it will be. In 12 months Hastings could very well be the hottest free agent in the game. He's a genuine half with great vision, a match winning kicking game and he has it all ahead of him. I have him above mbye and we all saw the offers he attracted and what it took to keep him at the dogs. It's money well spent. You're not going to win a comp with a shit half back.

              Something is brewing
              Has to be
Upgrades will be covered by offloads in 2017 and beyond.
I smell a big signing in the backs (other than SBW.)
              Seen this many times before.

Every player is now on the open market - there is no such thing as a binding contract anymore!

Have to agree with BC.The likes of Mbye Moses Brooks are already on 600 under the 6.8 cap.The kid has vision,a great pass, class short kick game defends well and is a capable goal kicker. The likes of saints to replace Marshall and Penrith to replace Soward will b throwing the cheque book at him and good halves will only be even more important as the interchange reduces over next few seasons. He will probably be the NSW half in 3 yrs,not a hell of a lot of competition from nsw qualified halves when u look at it.

Not really. We haven't released any forwards. We have backrowers who can comfortably play 80.

As for Hayne, all you have to do is look at his latest Instagram post and it is pretty evident where his heart lies. I doubt we'll ever see him at the roosters, even if his NFL career doesn't go to plan

                              I think Sonny is coming.

As for Hayne, if he fails there I am confident he will be a rooster.
