  • Joe Burgess Centre of attention?

With his large frame, blistering speed, ability to play on both sides and fantastic skill we may see him in the centres by the start of the season? If not aleast we'll have the biggest, fastest and most powerful back 3 in the comp starting our sets.

He is big and fast and can score a try but he has a terrible case of the dropsies and like all english league backs, his test will be his defence.

Spot on ! A completely different game here to over there. Centre is also a completely different position as its not much different nowadays than a backrower

You can't just make a specialist winger a centre.

Sounds like we got another SKD on our hands.

McNamara doesn't seem to think he's s centre, he would have seen more of him then most.

Why would anyone think he is a centre when he's always played wing?

His error rate is MUCH worse than SKDs. In fact our likely starting back 3 this year all make SKD's hands look rock solid, which is a worry

To be fair to the young Pom, he would have been playing in wet weather for a lot of the season over there, and everyone knows there's a higher chance of mistakes when the footballs are wet and greasy.

Let's see how he goes in the generally drier Aus conditions. You might be pleasantly surprised.

He certainly has speed to burn, and might even pick up pace on the drier, harder grounds we have here.

Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

I'm keen to see him run around, if PoS see's something in him.

                    Chook.

I hope he doesn't have a identity crisis like those steroid fuelled Burgess - Crowes

I'd rather see him play rugby league for the right team, and do well.

But in hindsight , you made the right call on Walker.
                        Sorry.
