Cordner is a keeper but if he wants what other clubs will pay he can walk.. If Cords left I'd bet my left one that he'd end up at the sharks with his best mate Wade and on Gallens money....

Cords is regarded as a future NSW capt.As well as double what his current contract is worth with us they are also offering the captaincy.Cords should b our leader in my opinion, Pearce and Jake r not cut out for it and I think jakes form was down a little last year with the added responsibility compared to previous few yrs. Cords will not capt NSW if he's not capt at club level.

Cordner would need to learn to speak English first.

I'd take cordner at 23-24 over sonny at 31-32 any day of the week. Sonny at the same age would be a different story. Especially at that age coming in after over two years out of the game.

I would be surprised if the club got into a bidding war for Cordner, it's not their style look at RTS last year they wouldn't match the Warriors insane offer and at the time imo and rightly so too. I would hate to see our club end up like NQ / Parra where they pay a truly insane amount for one player that screws up the balance of the side. If Cords wants to chase the bucks then good luck to him and thanks for the time served there is always another Cordner around the corner as is the case with RTS with young Latrel Mitchell.

He would be stupid to go to the knights. Doesn't matter how well he plays, he will still go unnoticed in a terrible team.
Do you want huge money, or do you want decent money with the opportunity to compete for a premiership?

For a 23 yr old with plenty of football left, the choice is an easy one.

2017 is going to be massive for our club. Lots of players off contract. And lots of other players on the market. Cords will be with us. It's a matter of who will be let go though. Our team will look so different.

I respect your op but Sonnys ability on the field is only a small part of what he has to offer, The rest is something Cordner will never have to offer..

                              Couldn't disagree more.

Cordner will be a great of our club and he is our future captain.

The respect he commands from his peers is second to none, I suggest you watch some interviews or speak to some players so they can clue you in on something you believe "he will never offer". Actually scratch that just watch a game from this year, his workrate, his commitment & his effort upon effort under fatigue is inspirational.

Cordner loves the club, we just need to give him a fair salary and he wont be going anywhere. Losing him would be a bigger cock up than losing RTS.

Ive heard plenty of interviews and spoken to Boyd a few times. I know his work rate is as good as Friends and Pearces but formine JWH was our 2015 inspiration and unofficial leader[commands a lot more respect than Cordner], I also hope he stays but if he wants silly coin he can walk..
