He was originally sacked by Souths for off field behaviour, but it would be a bad move on our behalf to sign him as I would rather keep Jennings, SKD, Ferguson and Elliot as our centre pairing options. Wingers and fullbacks we have so it will be a stupid move from us to poach on a player who is very injury prone!!!!

Not sure that I agree with you if you are saying that Hiku is more versatile than Hayne. I would think that the hayne train would make a better centre than hiku, is definately a better winger than hiku, would make a better five eight than hiku if injuries occurred and we had to use one of them for any such position. Of course there is a big difference in their salaries too so that would have to be a consideration if one was thinking of recruiting between those 2 players.

I would prefer Hayne and i agree he would be more effective.

Just from reading things on here I believe he will be a Bronco, unfortunately.


I highly rate him especially on this years performance & I think he will kill it at the Broncos under Bennett. He probably needs a Wayne Bennett coaching him to maintain that standard of footy he played this year for the Titans. The Broncos will be the team to beat over the next few years IMO.

They'll heavily backend his contract because the cap increases quite a bit in 2018 and by then Parker & Thaiday will be gonski. Same manner in which Manly are operating with their big name signings.

Big kick in the teeth for local product Dale Copley who will get a release and head to the Sharks.
