I've said this on here before and I suppose I need to be careful what I say.
A very very good friend of mine was close to the Potter, Sheens, Benji, Farah situation/fallout, He assures me that it is very true that Farah has a very divisive personality that a lot of people, including team mates, cannot take to. It has caused factions within the Tigers Club. Now I don't expect everyone on here to believe me, but it is what I have been told numerous times and in a hell of a lot more detail than what I can discuss on here. Anyway, I do believe my friend.
I don't want Farah at our Club. Forget the fact of what I've been told about him, I really don't think he is that good a player. I think he is the NSW dummy half simply due to default. I actually think Mitch Rein is a much better player.
Not only that but surely any money we put toward Farah, is money we can't put toward a decent fullback.
And above all, what message does this send to Jake Friend? There is no way Farah signs with us to play anything but FG hooker. It will be a step backwards imo.

One of your best posts JC....I too meant every word you said.

When someone is at an organisation for a long time, they can become very influential on those that haven't been there for long. I doubt Farah would have the same affect here like he had at Balmain.
Why would the club risk player unrest to bring this clown in? Either Friend or Hasting would directly be effected and you could bet your bottom dollar they wont be too happy about it.
This whole saga could end up blowing up in the club's face if they are not careful.
I've always liked Robbie. I don't think he would he throw his weight around and be divisive at a new club on a one year deal. Last chance to win a premiership should focus his mind.
Absolutely agree that we don't want to put Jake's nose out - he's got to be a rooster for life.
Having another ball player takes the pressure of Blake Ferguson, allows him just to run and tackle hard.
Not sure how it all works out - maybe put Guerra in the centre and play Farah on the fringe like a slightly lighter Glenn Stewart.

Slightly lighter? Farah is not a backrower. He would get smashed, would never be able to break the line and be dominated in most tackles. He is much smaller and he is a dummy half. I just don't see how it can work. Pearce and Hastings are the best options ar 6 and 7. Farah would be brought in as a 9 which however you look at it will piss Friend off. And I think Friend can play 80 so I don't even know why they are considering it.
Not sure how having Farah here has any effect on Blake Fergusons game.
I don't think Jakes as affective if he plays 80 min. Getting Nikorima is huge for us. Less interchanges means slower forwards around the ruck and what better way to capitalise on that then a very lively dummy half which imo hake isn't. He's not slow but he doesn't have that burst of acceleration like a Nikorima does

The real problem is that we turn to shit when jake goes off the field.

As I said in a earlier post I actually like the idea & I had a funny feeling it would happen but Im now thinking that it is dragging on a bit too long & it that the deal might not come off.
