Yeah. The one off jersey idea for specific occasions is a good idea, and those designs look good and are obviously Easts.
If I followed a team like Penrith I'd have an identity crisis by now.

Also, am I the only one who hates all of the pink bullshit? Enough already. Pretty sure they have not cured breast cancer nor made any significant difference. Time to let it go.

Did the ANZAC jerseys save the young men who went over and fought? Did the indigenous jerseys close the life expectancy gap between Aboriginal's and Caucasian's in Australia?

The pink jerseys are a nice variation and it creates AWARNESS for breast cancer, whilst also adding a female element to the game.

You can't create change without first raising awareness so I don't know if you can say that those jerseys haven't fulfilled their aim in some small manner. As mentioned above though, if you have an alternate jersey every week it's just annoying.

Also, I don't think the roosters ever had an indigenous jersey which I think is a shame.

In my opinion the pink jerseys have become a cliché. No wants to piss them off because they will look as though they are against helping people or even worse against women. I'm all for expanding the NRL's market but perhaps this marketing idea (which is what it really is) has run its course. Just my opinion but as an expatriate I am increasingly shocked at how desperate people are to follow the PC rules of the day.

I don't have an issue with having an alternative jersey to be worn when playing away and there is a clash of jerseys with the home team.
BUT, it should be an alternative jersey ...not an away jersey. We should be wearing our standard navy blue jersey every week, only wearing the white when we play away and there is a clash with the other teams jersey.
I don't get why you have to wear the white strip merely because you are playing away !

I believe scientific research has actually shown that wearing white (or light colour) clothing during sunny and warm conditions actually have a cooling effect compared with wearing darker colours

I don't get all the people that moan about club's having a number of different jerseys because "it's too expensive".

Do you really have to buy them all?

My kids have an Anzac jersey, a normal one and that super hero one. That's it in the last five or so years.
