SBW I think will have sort of position with the Roosters, be it another small playing stint, marketing with mini, what a great duo, and or being a father figure to the young islander boys in the club, keeping them focused, and on the right track.

He has a busy offseason planned and logic tells you he would want his playing future settled sooner rather than later. The longer this drags out the stronger his chances of returning to the Roosters obviously.
However, there is now another club making noises that they have his signature for 2016.
Re problems@dogs? ... yep... DES.
Hodkinson -> Knights, Pritchard -> England. Cook-> lols says as much. Signings? next to none.
Also Dymock with Reynolds in tow like a 12 yo + mandatory entourage being seen in the East more and more lately. Being paraded like a cheap Chinese copy."The only time you start at the top is when you are digging a hole."

Hodkinson was a steady hand for the dogs but three halves must become two eventually and they went with mbye who has more than a touch of class. Pritchard is a good player, but the dogs have so many forwards. Every year the comp is tighter and tighter. They need to move players out and bring in new players until they have the right mix. Surely trex is next to go. What a flop.
Mybe and Hodkinson were a balanced pairing.
Reynolds is a liability.
