Can only assume Dogs gave Meehan a deadline which wasn't met. His 'pending' return to the Roosters is not the formality that plenty seem to think it is.
He has a busy offseason planned and logic tells you he would want his playing future settled sooner rather than later. The longer this drags out the stronger his chances of returning to the Roosters obviously.
However, there is now another club making noises that they have his signature for 2016.

Hodkinson was a steady hand for the dogs but three halves must become two eventually and they went with mbye who has more than a touch of class. Pritchard is a good player, but the dogs have so many forwards. Every year the comp is tighter and tighter. They need to move players out and bring in new players until they have the right mix. Surely trex is next to go. What a flop.

I'd have kept Hodko and moved Reynolds on.

I think Cook could be a loss if Lichaa doesn't pan out and I think Cook was very good for them in the back end of the year
