  • Robbo's team changes has them Guessing

A Great coaching Masterstroke by Robbo

    Moving Cordner to the middle,

Maubs in the run on to behave like an extra hooker in defense allowing Jake the tactical space to control the speed in attack

leaving SST on the bench with Undertaker, Liu & McWreck

Certainly surprised most of us & obviously scared the hell out of Des

No doubt the Broncos & especially Bennett will be in many minds now our coach has shown ONE hand

As with all good magicians how can we see what's in Robbo's other hand yet to be played?
Add to the mix the return of Pearce.
We have unfinished business with the Broncs given our game went out the window immediately following those injuries from the 20 min mark last time we played.

That first 20 we were on fire,

Strategically, what surprises does Robbo have in stall?
& how will Bennett anticipate our moves?

I told you Pearce was playing last week.

This weeks mail see's JWH returning with Rog finally getting a well deserved spell.

Oh and Fergo may be running a little late seeing he has a prenatal class to attend.

I really think that Mcilwrick should drop off the bench and that we should use another forward in his place even if pearce doesn't return. I think he only managed 6 mins last game and he is no Jake Friend may I add. Morts was a real live wire out of dummy half in 2013 and added a lot of speed to the ruck when he usually would have a 20 min stint in the middle part of the game.

Friend plays 65-70 mins these days at least if not the full 80. I think that Aubs could make the switch in that time and someone could replace aubs on the left edge. I think that after a week against the large dog's pack we will certainly benefit from adding an extra prop like matagi.

Do you think Robbo was preparing for the Broncos and the return of Pearce by only using a 3 man bench for the majority of the Bulldogs game?

This way, he can feel confident having Hastings(just incase Pearce goes down) and 3 forwards on this weeks bench.

I think he would be confident having Hastings on the bench so he can come on in 20 minute stints at the end of the half and weave his magic.

yes Mcillwrick offers nothing he must go off the bench.

He won't get 20 minute stints.
He may give Friend a rest but Pearce and Maloney won't be coming off for a rest.
Please explain how you think Robbo will use him in 20 minute stints.
