  • Once was a Warrior is now our ENFORCER

    Brett Kimmorley Fox sports
    September 07, 2015 10:38AM

IT’S hard to see anyone stopping the Roosters. They may be missing two of their best players in Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Mitchell Pearce but a new enforcer in Sio Siua Taukeiaho has the Bondi boys firing.
It’s strange to think that the Warriors let him go because they couldn’t get him fit and thought he couldn't play.
He joined the Roosters this year and he’s been enormous. A lot of people talk about Kane Evans and Dylan Napa but Taukeiaho is the enforcer of this club now Waerea-Hargreaves is out.

I have never seen a side run as hard as the Roosters did against South Sydney.

The game was over at halftime with Trent Robinson’s side making a massive statement.

Their forward pack is tough, physical and skilful led by their new enforcer Sio Siua Taukeiaho.

He has become one of the best players in the game and in the absence of Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, the youngster stamped himself as the physical enforcer of the team.

    He’s so hard to stop.

It’s hard to see anyone stopping the Roosters.

Interesting comments from Kimmorley. He has been praising us for weeks now.

Toovey on the other hand reckons we have no X-factor apart from RTS. Would love to see the scoreline at Brookie two weeks ago if we have no 'X-factor'..... and we didn't even have Jenko that night

We really wanted Taumalolo and we ended up with someone playing much better at a fraction of the cost.

That's how we stay in the cap.

How good is Matagi as a back up as well.

I was on the Warriors forum the other week looking for some (probably wrong) update on Mannering for supercoach purposes.

They're spewing about the fact that Matthew Elliott preferred Todd Lowrie to SST and released him (SST) after half a game. To quote one of them 'The ghost of Matthew Elliott still haunts me every time I see Taukeiaho play.'

Unbelievable they released him, same with Mad Man Matagi.

SST has been playing as though he were superman. It sounds like his success is a real credit to our coaching staff and SST's hard work. He is an absolute gun.

Didn't his push on that souffs player opened his head up when it crashed into Keary's?

He's been a phenomenon, easily rookie of the year.

I think there's gotta be an investigation into that comment...

I interpreted Toovey's comments differently. He was suggesting we are a well-balanced team that doesn't rely on any one single player.

No investigation needed RW&B. Toovey is still bitter that the Chooks beat his chip stealers in the 2013 GF and 'robbed' him of premiership glory. He would probably say that we had no Xfactor that year either, but that 'all the calls went our way' despite the penalty try that wasn't being awarded to his team.

I think the fact that Robbo is so calm, logical, intellectual and intelligent also rubs Toovey up the wrong way, espec as it means that the NRL actually ask Robbo for his opinion whereas no one in power ever asks Toovey for his. Which is as it should be, as Toovey doesn't give a shyte about the game itself, only his (now former) club.

Toovey should come to our club. We need a back-up water boy.

Surely he was taking the p*ss with that comment.

                    SST is a beast!

Can't stand Brett Kimmorley. Such a wanker. Ever since he said the chooks couldn't win the 2013 premiership with Pearce and maloney as halves. What a flop.

Poor bloke was 2/9 against Robbo. I think he's still trying to figure out how to beat us.

                          Does that include trail games?

We beat them 5 times back in 2013.
