There's an argument that Maloney should fight his charge. Fights and loses, he still gets to play with 75 carry over points; accepts early plea gets 56 points; fights and wins has a clean slate for the finals.
Relevant questions: are there offences that are less than 44 points? (If there aren't, then he loses nothing by fighting - unless he subsequently is found guilty of an offence carrying 125 -143 points where we still have two games to play.)
Is it better to put it all behind him and get on with the week? (Maybe.)
Can he get off? (Not sure of the criterion for tripping, but surely it has to be a real attempt using significant force - Jimmy's leg was brushed aside like an old cobweb.)Last edited by zac; 09-07-2015, 06:12 PM.

Evans threw the ball at Carter whilst he was being treated for injury by their trainer (a cut to the head). That's why they have charged him for throwing the ball.Originally posted by Tommy Smith View PostLol players throw the ball all the time. That's ridiculous.Embrace the Hate! JC

Was thinking the same. Except I can't see any way he can win.Originally posted by zac View PostThere's an argument that Maloney should fight his charge.
