SKD returns to the wing right Darkone? It should be a cracker of a night. Watch the minor premiers smash their arch rival South Sydney as we march towards GF glory! Very happy to see SKD back.

I think it might be Fergo and Jenko in the centres with Toups and SKD on the wings. Either way I'm just happy that the man is back ahead of the finals.

Elliot definitely deserves a shout out for his recent efforts too. He did an admirable job filling in and has definitely marked himself as a player of the future. its a bit rough to score three tries and get dropped though!

Sam Moa takes ownership up front as Roosters forwards battle on without star prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves

            CHRISTIAN NICOLUSSI
NO JARED Waerea-Hargreaves, no worries for the Sydney Roosters. So far. The Chooks forwards really aimed up without their star prop Waerea-Hargreaves last Friday — now the challenge will be on them to do it again against Souths’ monster pack.
The return of Sam Moa from injury was a huge bonus for the premiership favourites last weekend, even though the Kiwi international admitted to “having the lung capacity of ‘Eric the Eel’’’.

Moa said he wanted to take some ownership up front, but no one particular player would try to emulate the role of injured enforcer Waerea-Hargreaves.

While Waerea-Hargreaves won’t return for the Bondi boys this campaign, the sight of Moa, Dylan Napa, Kane Evans, Sio Siua Taukeiaho, as well as in-form backrowers Boyd Cordner and Aidan Guerra will worry the life out of their opposition.
The way the Bunnies’ forwards have performed of late — excluding their effort against North Queensland — the Roosters could have a field day making metres up the middle at Allianz Stadium.
Moa said coach Trent Robinson made sure that the Roosters they didn’t dwell on the loss of Waerea-Hargreaves last Friday against Manly, and the forwards responded in the best way.
“I put a lot of ownership on myself, and a lot of the younger boys who come off the bench, everyone stepped up, which was an encouraging sign,’’ Moa said

Souths are a quality side, we went through what they’re going through now in regards to being reigning premiers, and everyone stepping up their game. The same thing is happening to Souths.
“It’s unfortunate with the injuries they’ve got, but we’re expecting one of their best performances on Friday night.
“We’re more nervous if not have the same amount of nerves as last week (against Manly) because we know they’re such a quality side.
“You always see them respond after a below-par performance. While they played below their standards, I thought Brisbane were also extremely good. There’s a reason Souths are the reigning premiers, and on their day there isn’t a harder team to play against.’’

You never know, he could still be called upon over the coming weeks & how confident do we all feel with him available...

We had some rain overnight however the sun is out now.

Souths are not the team they have been over the past few years. I think we will destroy them.

The last time they brought that out, we were crowned Minor Premiers as well.

                              They obviously don't do irony.
