Until you play each team home and away, and also lose your best players for 3 games of the season for origin, it cannot be done that way.

Also, When you say most places around the world, which places and sports do you mean other than soccer?

True but that isn't the major prize. I think the $400K to win the GF is piss poor compared to AFL which is about $1M.
This was last year's prize money so I'm not sure if this has changed this year.

without a doubt final series is required and entertaining, but just a bit more of a reward/recognition for finishing first would be great..as 2026 said it is abysmal to only receive 100K for the MP...IMO the best team throughout the year does not always win the comp..

It should be more like 400k for the minor premiership and $1 million for the premiership.
