  • Sam Moa should be our players' spokesman

Sam is the most articulate, intelligent and presentable spokeman when faced with a camera and interviewer. Almost as impressive as Trent Robinson who seems to have single-handedly raised the intelligence level displayed by modern-day coaches.
As fine a player and captain as Jake (and Mitch also) is....it is almost painful to see and hear them both on TV.
Give Sam the position of official Players' spokesman is what I say...

Jake and Mitch are alright, but agree - Sammy's great.

Our co captains are probably the worst on camera, one seems spooked when asked a question, and the other speaks like he is still in high school.

As long as they do the job on the field though, it doesn't matter.

Would love to see Jimmy in a presser.

        Sam is a good bloke.

I haven't noticed this side of Sam...have to watch closer next time.

My picks would be Jimmy then
Guerra as best interviewees for us.

You'd need a smoke machine and dimmed lights for Guerra to set the mood.

Fergo is shocking during interviews too.

There are very few footy players around that can actually make some decent chat during an interview

I was thinking the same about Moa when he was interviewed on Friday night.
Sowell spoken and articulate. He really does come across as a down to earth good guy.
That is why I felt so sorry for him when the NRL charged him for the friendly gesture of touching the referee.
I hope we can keep him but I fear he will be offered big money and pushed out of the club.

I love the bloke. Kind, Humble and well spoken in front of the camera - Yet a tank on the field.

And there were some who wanted him gone with heinous
accusations about him going soft or had a drinking issue.

Much like Sonny, he does and will leave a positive influence on the team.

Get the paper bags out Uncle Nick.

Far more articulate than our co captains.. I reckon he would've done ok with the C, and probably enticed him to stay on.

A 'C' needs to play more than 40-50 minutes.
                      Moa is legendary.
