My problem here is that people on this forum keep giving me some glimmer of hope that RTS actually can stay.
But in reality, I think he is gone at the end of this year because he has signed a contract (not that those pieces of paper are worth much these days)!
I suppose he has the same chance of staying as JWH playing again this season ...

      Spot on.

People say hayne only tried every few weeks, well there must be massive let down moments when you do something special, and the bumbling players around you let you down time and time again.

The run hayne had in 2009 will be unmatched.

Maybe it's time to blood Latrell depending on how he performs in the off-season. Otherwise Hastings to FB and Nikorima to 5/8?
This is how I see it, JAF.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

Seriously, that is a pretty big call...

RTS is the best fullback in the game right now with the potential to one day match or exceed Hayne, but to say he is already better than him and what he achieved I think is seriously overstepping the mark. Hayne played for a sh*t team for most of his career and take him out of the 2009 Eels team they would have finished in the bottom 4 maybe even wooden spoon and he carried them pretty much by himself into the Grand Final. If Roger manages to stay the in the top 3 in the game for the next 3 years while playing for the basket case across the Tasman then he then might be close to Hayne's level.

The good coaches including Robbo (who knows his game) will devise a plan to negate Roger's effectiveness. In fact I can think of one tactic which may make it harder for him but will not publish or talk about it until the season ends.

Just remember, Hayne also won a series in SOO for NSW against arguably one of the greatest teams in history almost by himself and in other one off SOO games pretty much led NSW to being competitive and beating a team of superstars.

Roger definitely has the potential to be better then Hayne but he's not quite there yet.

Hayne could do anything, the only flaw in his game was his inconsistency and in 2014 he fixed that. Not to mention his run in 2009 is probably the greatest a player has ever performed.

Imagine Hayne at the Roosters and under Robbo.

His game would go to another level.

              What's after the freakish level?

Tedesco is a good as sheck at the moment. Again, factor in how crap the tigers have gone. But in saying that, alot of credit to roger, because sometimes it is harder to stick out in a very good team.

Tedesco wouldn't tie RTS's shoelaces. There is more to being a fullback than attack. I wouldn't trust Tedesco in defence or to direct our defensive line.

On his day Hayne would be better than any fullback but he went MIA too many times. RTS goes at 100% for 80 minutes for 26 rounds.

There is more to fullback than attack, such as catching bombs and defusing grubbers, sheck is great, but lets not get carried away saying tedesco is useless, if you think that, then you haven't watched a game he has played.

I love how if someone has a different opinion the "you don't watch the games" come out.
I actually watch a lot of tigers games and as good as Tedesco is in attack he is as poor in defence. Maybe you just get overawed with his attack and are blinded to his poor defence.

Bring back Mini, get him to train Latrell up for 2-3 years then put Latrell in as FB for a year.

IMO next year's gonna be a letdown compared to 2013, 2014 and 2015. You can't just win every year unfortunately. Our halves won't be as good, our FB won't be as good, we might lose SKD and bleeeeh. I don't want to think about it, bring on the 2015 GF!!!

There's talk of Slater playing 5/8th with Munster at FB who still has 2 more years at the Storm.
