I've just been reviewing your past posts. I haven't found a single one that expresses anything but defeatism, disappointment, despair and derision. I go through periods like that myself, but you look like you're in a sustained bleak period.

In the unlikely event that we do win the comp, I do hope it fills you with joy. It's only a game. It's meant to be fun.

I remain optimistic - I was just reflecting your previous comments. As for conspiracy theories, I don't subscribe to any. I observe statistical aberrations and report on them.

I hope your team wins, RR.

Bad luck JWH, didn't look like much in it, but thems the breaks. Moa and matagi might have to be our 1 2 punches now, dont think pearce is a loss to be honest, time will tell.

You will continue to whinge and make snarky comments about our team like the ungrateful little brat that you are.

Napa will fly the flag. He looks to be growing into a JWH type figure at the club is the big ranga.

Was so impressed with Evans,Lui,SST and Nappa tonight. 4 very young players who stood up when the big fella pulled up lame. That for me was the most impressive aspect of our game last night. The boys in the middle stepped up BIG time

It already shows ...Pearce at least has a big kickinng boot ..he gains us more ground with his field kicks and bigger bombs giving our defence plenty of time to set and make ground. Hastings will go alright ..needs to punch the line a bit .

Apart from the boot his defence will also be missed.. Horrie jnr is good and will develop further with confidence

Robbo has created a team that can overcome referees; play big minutes and cover multiple positions. The club is prepared for such calamities.

We won last night against the competition leaders with 2 substitutes. Brilliant bench rotation

It's a cruel blow for JWH personally but we will be fine.

We have a great forward pack and the other boys will lift....its weird but from something like this we may just go to that next level of intensity and desire.

Still have the best team...Friend, RTS, Jimmy showed they can and will steer us around better than the rest on the back of an outstanding pack.

As for young Horrie in for Mitch...we lose nothing and probably gain I hate to say.

I'd much rather be in our shoes than any of our opponents at this point.

                            East's to win.

If I was a conspiracy theorists, I would be suspicious of the tackle on JWH. Parker grabs Jarryds legs and twists it one way while another comes from the top and twists Jarryds body the opposite way... We all know Bennett coaches his team to dive but would he... But I'm not a conspiracy theorists so I wouldn't believe it was intentional.

It was always going to be difficult. Our best win of season 2013 came without Jared Waerea Hargreaves and forced players to stand up and show their true colours. We will have Sam Moa return and a chance for Dylan Napa to come of age. We are not a one man team unlike other top teams in the competition.
Yes BAW you are right. Robbo has always coached team first and foremost. We are not a team of individuals, though jealous sections of the media and opposition supporters would want you to believe that. And all those posters who criticised Robbo earlier in the year for the team being too structured etc may find it a blessing now. Replacement players can now slot into the team structure and know what is expected of them.
It will not be easy though. We're not talking about one or two games here. We may not get Pearce back at all either. We need one of those Souffs miracle recoveries. Their half back is always 'gone for the season' only to return 2 weeks later.
