I don't understand why he needed to change his religion to stop drinking and stop being a drop kick. Great athlete though and if on the straight and narrow would have him in a heartbeat. Sbw I'm not so sure. Be interesting to see what he's worth at that age and after that long out of the game. Not cheap I'd think.

I doubt he will be back, his body is not what it used t be, who knows maybe one more season, but I would really like him to have some position within the club, mainly as a guidance instructor to the young blokes coming thru, as one of his duties, he would be good for the club, and as for the Marketing Dept, they would be rapt to have him on board as well.

        Agree.
He was really finished in NRL last season, injured and body couldn't keep up...which he basically admitted.

I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back at Centre. In place of Jennings. He would be devastating out there.

Not fast enough to play centre these days, IMO.
Mentor/marketing sensation is his best position now.

We play Aubs in the centres and I know which I would prefer there between Aubs and Sonny.
