Still don't think we'll win the MP.
Not that I'm not confident we couldn't win every game I just think we've got 3 huge games to end the season and although no one will come out and say it publicly I reckon we'll play a bit within ourselves as soon as we're assured of a top 4 spot based on how poorly we seemed to time our run last year. Manly, Souths & Brisbane would all have us highlighted, it'd be a huge ask for us to lift for every game leading into a finals series, quite frankly I don't think it'd be smart.
Best case scenario we dispose of Parra with ease, Broncos play like they have been and we can cruise to win, Manly are out of contention by the time we meet them and then we can justify expending some energy to try and beat Souths.
Although I don't think any of that will happen. Parra will give our forwards a tough game, Arthur will make sure of that even though we should still win comfortably, the Broncos will be starting to peak under Bennett with this game being highlighted as their tester to see how good they really are, Manly will still be in contention and as desperate as ever with this game being their make or break and Souths will be Souths, a traditional rivalry not matter how or where each team is traveling.

Interesting bit of connection with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles teams of seasons 1971, 1972 and 1973 as with our Sydney Roosters of season 2013, 2014 and potentially season 2015.
Manly reached the grand final in 2 out of those 3 seasons. Manly won the first of two premierships against the Eastern Suburbs Roosters in season 1972 and our club did the reverse in season 2013. In the one season they did not reach the grand final in season 1971 the South Sydney Rabbitohs were the grand final winners just as they were in season 2014 and South Sydney defeated Manly in 1971 and our Roosters in 2014 to reach the grand final. Perhaps this is an omen and we will get to face the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the decider for season 2015.
