You must be related to Latrell. To make a silly comment like that. I am saying it how I see it and by the lots of comments of others watching the game we all agree. You obviously don't watch any of the games, need to take the blinkers off. They have a great forward pack and outside backs. The only weakness is they don't have a good proper halfback. Latrell has talent but he is no standout, he let in 3 tries against the Bulldogs and nearly cost his team the game if he hadn't scored at the end, he has handling problems, including catching the high bombs and defensive issues in all his games, including against Newcastle, where he dropped the ball a few times and let in a try. If he was playing fullback now in first grade you and others would be saying, he is no good. I like to watch all our Roosters games including the u20s and to be honest I can't see what all the fuss about Latrell is. To be fair Tom Trbojevic is a much better player at fullback, which is his position but not on the wing.
I watch plenty of the 20s games and most of the players won't make the nrl, certainly not at our club because they simply aren't good enough. Some may end up as fringe players in wooden spoon teams but the rest (and majority) will need to find another career down the track.

I base my opinion on Latrell on what I have seen for a long time now and not what others say or think.

Since you are such an expert, how you about you tell us which players in the 20s you think will make it in the nrl.

I think the majority of the team will and seeing your such a roosters supporter you should be hoping. They are going well at the moment and I know most are on very good coin, so the club must see the talent bar you

There's too many good judges speaking so highly of Mitchell for this to just be another hyped up kid.

When Napa was playing his first few games of first grade lots of people were talking about how good he was going to be. Kane Evans was meant to make his debut but I believe from memory he got injured?? At the time I can remember someone on an NRL tv show said wait till you see Kane Evans, he is a much bigger prospect. It has taken Kane a couple more years since then but he is starting to really hit his straps and will one day soon be one of our top two props.

I believe this is what will happen with Latrell. He will take a while to grow in to that body of his. But like Kane, when he does he will be a world beater

I remember hearing Jason Taylor talking about Evans and Napa after their last year in the 20s. He knew they were not ready for first grade, but would be eventually.
Latrell has 2 more years in the u20s to develop and should play a bit of NSW cup to get him self ready.

U20s does not prepare the players for the physicality of first grade. They need time in NSW cup or at least Massey.

You think the majority of the 20s will make first grade? If so, can you give me at least 6 names of who you think will make first grade? I am interested to know.

Hastings, Mitchell, Manu, Leuluai, Garvey, Watson and JTS.
Some of these may make 1st grade at other clubs.. JTS & Watson have just resigned to play beyond NYC next year. As with the lots of players just depends on the opportunities available to play 1st grade with injuries and transfers to other clubs of established 1st graders.

What about Hetherington, Shaq, Lussick, Milne and Taylor?

Milne badly on the nose, dropped to Kingsgrove.

St Merge & Dulldogs are interested for 2016.

Hetherington has another year in the 20s and will do well. Not sure how old Shaq is but he is a prime example of a player that needs to get into Massey or NSW cup to toughen up.
He played one game in Massey and could have done alot better.

I'll throw Nat Butcher's name in there too.

Just turned 18, recovering from shoulder surgery. Might be good for the finals.

                          1. Latrell Mitchell
                          2. Charlie Taylor
                          3. Joseph Manu
                          5. Johnny Tuivasa-Sheck
                          6. Connor Watson
                          7. Grant Garvey
                          8. Billy Tsikrikas

                          13. Nat Butcher

                          14 Shaquai Mitchell

                          15
                          Richard Skelton

                          16. Poasa Faamausili

I agree with all of them. Most of the team bar a few has the talent and ability to all play first grade. I like to watch the 20s games and take an interest in getting used to all the players. Most of them due to limited positions here, will make their debut at other clubs, they might end up as well playing different positions. Most supporters wouldn't know All the players in the 20s bar a couple of names that get thrown around, like Latrell and Jonny TS. As they only turn up for the first grade. If this team happens to do well in the finals, they will be on notice from other clubs who will be poaching players.

I have heard Milne has gone. I know him and a few others in the team from rugby and has lost his dedication. Has put on too much weight and didn't look fit. Could see him heading into the forwards. The Bulldogs were interested before but not sure now

Where will SoH play in the semis; NRL or NYC?

With SKD and Moa to come back and barring any injuries, it will be interesting to see whether Robbo uses him as the utility and Maubs just in the backrow.

Sadly the same mould as his mate Willis. Once upon a time the club carried undisciplined players but TRobbo & POS have set a standard for ALL.
