There will always be that "what if" in 75. What if Langland's groin was fine, would we have won?

Johnny. They could have had Langlands playing at his best, nothing would have stopped the Roosters on That day in 75.

Interesting era - 5 metres apart and rip in

'75 was playing in a RWB strip ( not Roosters )

'82 , June 6th got Married, Parra playing Berries 10min to go in tight game Bride pulls up I said "send her around again" , they said she already had done 2 laps - they were the days when Rugby league was a recognised religion.

Great vid of the 75 team but I had to mute Rooster Man, still makes me cringe.

          Chook.

We dominated 74 and 75 by a country mile, to pick 82 parra who lost to manly 20 blot in a major semi over 75 Easts is just so plainly wrong, at least the online poll got it right.

Langlands was fit and well 6 weeks earlier when Easts thrashed saints 41-7 at the Scg.

We lost the semi that year, and Dad went on his pat malone,....... bastard.
I was only about 8, so I couldn't argue, but the GF held two main memories for me.
                  The GF.
Beetson, always a larger than life figure, and king of the kids.
And.................Bruce Pickett running around Langlands like he was a Morris Marina.
He would of beat a fully fit St George fullback that day easy.
                  Our fullback wasn't even playing.

And he was fit and well 6 weeks later.
He took the field wearing the famous "red V".
Nobody dared tell him if he fit or not.

Henry Tatana was the only dragons player who had a go so much so he even had a go at Langlands in the dressing room at half time causing Langlands to return to the field minutes after the 2nd half had started.fact.

                          Good thread.
Our forwards were better than their, but their halves in Sterling & Kenny >> Mayes & Peard.
Backline is about even but Fairfax and Mark Harris were out injured.
                          Imagine Harris and Grothe colliding.
