Cordner won us that game, he was awesome tonight, then the Napavator. JWH got the love, but these 2 did the dirty work.
Che is lucky Sam got hurt and Kane may get a week, cause he is so O atm. I suspect his missus has told him to not get hurt.
He needs to be put in a small room with Boyd, JWH and the Napavapor and they need to watch the video of this game and have a quiet chat to him of what is expected of a SoO player.
Napa was a beast. His go forward is getting close to his D, so dominant on individual plays that helps control the tempo of the set.
Fergo's D was O tonight, glad it was tonight and not in 6 weeks time. In Trent we trust will have him sweet come September.
We are building well.

Indeed it was. Leading 22 to nil and then going behind 28-22 is not acceptable. Winning the game shouldn't cover some of the ill's. Happened last yr too vs the Cows. One week after we were truly exposed. I'm happy to beat the dogs by 1 point but giving up the lead after a 22 point lead is not acceptable when u are premiership favourites.

even when we were behind and without the ball our team still had the x factor and i sensed we were going to pull something out of the bag. i was there and witnessed a special team tonite.sure the dogs got back into the game but really had the help of the dreaded duo of cecchin and klein the klown.i stated to a overseas friend don't get carried away with the score the refs will let them back in the game with penalties and possession.once the whistle stopped the game became even again and and our superiority and will to win was the difference.

There are a number of factors that can swing momentum -
1) The lopsided penalty count 7 - 2
2) The forward battle took centre stage. We lost sight of the score board however our forwards had to reassert their dominance in order to win the game.
You need to capitalise on momentum when you have it and you need to manage the risk/weather the storm when it's with the opposition. We did both and walked away with the 2 points.
Some credit should also go to the opposition.

The Roosters were crap at times and terrific at others.
But in the end the crap was mostly out wide and I walk away from that game thinking what a fantastic forwards battle that was
To single out one player is unfair when we have no idea of the defensive policies in place.
I do think you are onto something though , Guerra plays a middle defender early in the set then moves wider following the direction of the ball, covering the first line ( which in some circles is what a Lock does ) , then around the 20 min mark lapses in our Defensive line seems to appear , now this coincides with ou sub replacement , I put it to you that perhaps the Sub rotation ( generally in the middle section ) is having trouble adjusting the line to the outwards shift as they are still getting into the rhythms of the Game .

He's a great defender.
Don' t get me wrong we have a great well balanced team which compliment each other , this week JWH MOM , last week Che , next week some one else this is one team that does not ride on one persons back.
But like all well oiled machines , it only takes one part to be out of sinc to miss a beat, regular tune ups never hurt.

That win showed a lot of character.
Kline was fine but Checchin is an absolute disgrace. He is my most hated ref. Always has been. Dogs only came close because of Checchin's 6 penalties in a row.
Plus they had a dubious try awarded. And that whinging Hasler has the temerity to say he didn't get the 50/50 calls!
If we had a fair shake from Checchin we would've put 50 on them yesterday.
If we play like we did the first 25 minutes, no other team can match us.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we beat the cows like this last year during the finals where we amassed a lot of points early and then got caught by the cows only to snatch the win from them? If so, I hope they don't do it again. Then again it was beautiful to see Jennings AViation Fly over for a try.

I let your cheap shots pass the last few times but not anymore. I support the Sydney Roosters, not the Pearce poo pirates. For u to question my support based on criticism of one player speaks volumes about your mental state.
Over the last 3 yrs i've been critical of maybe two players out of 50 odd players. Pearce because i expect more out of a $500,000 plus first grade halfback and FPN for being lazy.
U on the other hand sit on some high horse acting like u are some superior supporter, yet caught out been critical of Maloney in another thread. So Get on ya bike ya hypocritical pearce fanboy.

U are a fraud, pretending to support all players yet when they move on u will be the first to stick the knife in. U supported the Finches and Anasta's yet as soon as anasta left u unleached on him with two thread to make yourself feel important, trying to suck up to the masses.
Your opinions are as valuable as a shit sandwich without the bread. Clueless predictable fraud.
