These things are always leaked by disgruntled former employees with access to this sort of information. Usually clubs with dysfunctional boards. Even if our club did cheat the cap, the powerbrokers are too smart to allow a situation where it could get out. I am willing to bet it will be another club which like the Eels have a history of underachieving.

I don't think we have anything to worry about from her. Obeid was clearly an easy egg to crack and she doesn't know anything about how the NRL works in regards to the cap...

Funny you say that, Ibeid has sued her twice and beat her. The Oasis allegation that started her fued with Obeid was a knock out win to Obeid, the Judge called her a liar and said she made her story and source up against Obeid. I wouldn't believe a word she prints. I think Cunneen is going to go after her as well.

Except for the fact the Bulldogs were done in 2004 and her work led to ICAC and Obeid being found to be corrupt and abusing his position of power, I wouldn't believe anything she says..

Tigers maybe? There have been a few comments from Jason Taylor during the week about their salary cap mess. And McClymont would know of the friendship between Obeid and his mate Di Girolamo (also a key figure in the recent ICAC inquiry) who I believe is on the Tigers' Board. So, if she does have a score to settle with Obeid it's conceivable that she is motivated to get Di Girolamo too.

                The Sharks.

Fair point about the Dogs but I wouldn't hold my breath about any Icac finding lol. They are worse than Asada and just as a toothless and will be dismantled after an inquiry about their conduct in the Cunneen case is called. I hear a lot of fur is about to fly over the suspicious relationship between Icac and Mcylmont. She has always had it in for Uncle Nick and Bouris.

I just heard on 2gb that this club is in the top 4 on ladder and premiership potential. They said if proven it will be as big as the Storm salary cap

If that's true it has to be Cowboys or Broncos.

Apparently we will find out tomorrow.

If that's true it's probably the Cows.

Roosters, Souffs and the Broncs are too high profile for something like this to be a secret.

I always think of disgruntled ex staff letting the cat out of the bag....

Paul White leaving his position and new person clearing the decks...

Lots of people wondered why Milford didn't take the 1Mill from the Raiders to sign for the Broncos for $450k

Maybe. Broncos are very murky with that Thoroughbreds Club and now also the Leagues Club/Andrew Gee thing. I would love it to be them.

I was thinking that it was more to come out of the Broncos salary cap scandal from last year where the integrity unit couldn't find any proof to penalise them.

Maybe McClymont has the details that the integrity unit couldn't find.
Imagine the party from all the other supporters if it was us. The talkback shows would go into meltdown.

Would love it to be broncos - all you hear & read about up here is how wonderful they are going and how what a great coach Bennett is. Would love to wipe the smirk of everyone's faces.
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
                                It's called experience.
