  • The return of SBW

From Moley GREAT news for Roosters fans – Sonny Bill Williams took a giant step towards rejoining the club over the weekend.
SBW was the Roosters’ special – and very secret – guest at the win over the Warriors yesterday.
SBW and his family were wined and dined by Roosters supremo Nick Politis in the hirer’s suite to watch the big win over theWarriors.
The visit was kept top secret so his family could enjoy the day without media attention – but not secret enough to avoid Moley’s attention.
Sonny Bill was spotted in deep conversation with Politis for much of the afternoon, fuelling talk he will return to the club in 2017 for the final years of his career.
The mail is that Sonny Bill will return to the NRL after the 2016 Rio Olympics.
SBW’s immediate goals are the rugby World Cup this year in the UK and the New Zealand Sevens team at next year’s Olympics before returning to Sydney for a rugby league swan song.

Not that big of a secret if there's a video of mini interviewing sbw up on the roosters site

Politis and SBW must laugh at these Moley scoops. SBW's time at the Roosters is done; there'll be no swansong due to SBW's age and condition, and team planning reasons.

To me, this was probably Uncle Nick treating friends and given SBW's father is a Roosters supporter I believe, makes it only more so.

probably but makes a good read.
        Ya never know.
If I was looking at it at a coaches angle in a couple of years again you would look at balancing leader .He would fit the bill . Hell he might even entice Shek back.

Brain, I hope you're right, especially with that last sentence.
I still haven't come to grips with the reality that RTS won't be a Rooster in 2016 - both feet firmly in that Egyptian river.

I wouldn't write off the possibility.

What wasn't mentioned is that his little baby was dressed in roosters gear. Warms the cockles of my heart.

I can't see why people say there is definitely no chance of SBW coming back. I reckon the boys would love to have him back and it would a major treat for the fans. From a footballing point of view his return would no doubt bring a x-factor.

However it's funny how long it took for an article to come out about this. The whole world knew he was going to the game yesterday, particularly if you follow his twitter feed. It's hardly a scoop

You have a heart? Seems very unlikely. You must have jizzed yourself when the commentators mentioned the penalty stats on the weekend.

I saw Rusty Fairfax, John Brass, Johnny Mayes, Bunny Reilly and Freddy too, are they all rejoining the club? I mean I'd have Freddy back just so I can re-create that scene from Grand Final night 2002 at the club. Let's just say that alcohol and some inappropriate touching on my behalf were involved.

                        No

The streak is closing in on 50.

Imagine the fest in this place when we get 8 penalties. It will be like a scene from Ted 2.

Exactly! Seems like he has a genuine love for the club, which is something many fans probably wouldn't have expected when he first signed to play for us
