This thread is ridiculous. Even the title suggesting that Pearce will laugh last. At the end of each players career I think Thurston will be pretty satisfied with his career. Pearce has also never led a team to a premiership either though. Maybe he can pull his finger out and make it happen this year.

We win its was in spite of Pearceorf, we lose it was cos of Pearceorf.
If there is any justice or karma in this world Pearceorf will lead us to a GF win at some stage. To do it over Thursthead would be the icing on the cake.
He deserved his punishment if he did sledge Thursthead in the second Origin, dumb dumb move against a determined competitive all heart player.
But IMO the Walters outburst and some of the snide remarks since have been well out of order.
All we can do now is hope Pearceorf reverses it and has the last laugh. To captain your club to a GF win is the ULTIMATE achievement for any player, far outstripping any amount of Origin series wins.
Harden up Snitzel this is your chance man.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

Without a doubt I love JTs tenacity and perpetual motion, he is one player I enjoy watching, but the RWB have the formula to shut him down .
We tipped our hat at "Smile stadium" earlier this year, when Che took time and space away from him and harassed him relentlessly the Cows capitulated.
Without JT the Cows are a spent shell ( no explosive power )

Just on the Pearcey sledge (not Percy)...I was actually pleased he was showing some "bottle" and confidence.
I want my guys to be hard nosed , competitive and willing to back themselves.
If an on field sledge is part of that... Fine. It's not as if he made the comments outside the field of battle.
We are a timid politically correct society enough... Ad nauseum.
