What a difference a week makes from everyone wanting fergos head to now him potentially being the best centre in the game. He was always going to come good and he will only get better. It was good to see him stride out in confidence last night.

As for Mitchell and people saying he isn't ready.. In fg he won't have the pressure or responsibility that he has in 20s. He won't be expected to come up with miracle plays at 18 years old. He'll hold his own next year and we'll reap the benefits in a season or two. Just as we will next year with SoH.

The fact that he was also willing to contest the bombs at full pace and getting good height putting his ankle under pressure at take off and landing shows he has developed a lot of confidence in the recovery process. He also seemed to be putting time into this at training last week. See the photo from last weeks pics.

Confidence seems to such a big factor in this teams performance, the right side played with such confidence and intensity Mitchell Aubusson was great last night and Blake and Shaun just seemed to be really enjoying playing footy, even if at times they overplayed their hand, but when you get that style of football emerging got to trust your players to play what they see in front of them.

On the other side of the field Jennings and Tupou seem to be down, although Boyd was really good this week.

I am not sure whether the ongoing contract issues are effecting Tupou's football. Good once it is settled one way or another.

It was the best $20grand investment our club made, sending Fergo to the USA! 😊

Ferguson's performance proved that he should stay in the centres next season.

I hope we have a another fullback lined up.

Jeez, how fat did Soward look last night? Grossly overweight.

I kept on getting mixed up between him and Plum. Confused by the headgear. When I finally worked out Plum was the smaller one I was ok.

                  Absolutely.

The Fergo-SKD combo is the best right edge in the comp. Best right winger and right centre in the game in my unbiased opinion

Soward just has one of those faces and personalities that you just wanna smack with your fist.

What was that stupid yelling he was doing behind that forwards back at the start?

Looked like the first time since his ankle injury that he had any confidence in its strength. You could tell he was restricting his running and stepping for the last month as he just looked much faster and elusive on Saturday. Didn't hurt that he was running at Soward I suppose but either way he looked a completely different player on saturday compared to his first few weeks back.

How many weeks since his injury was the weekend? 12-14 weeks or so?

                          15 weeks I believe.

He did it in rnd 4 and it was rnd 18 on the weekend, and then you also had the rep round so I presume 15 weeks.

Sterlo and Wally were on about that on the Footy show yesterday. Lewis reckoned he'd have got a backhander for sure back in the day. Now that would have been funny to see.

Fergo was a beast on Saturday. Massive X factor leading into the finals.
