  • Braith Reborn

Every year the same thing happens. Bwaiff will cop all sorts of flak and then will allow a story to run that he is about to turn things around in spite of the criticism. It happened every year (5) he was voted the games most overrated player. It happened every time he was dumped from the blues or when he was not even selected for the initial squad. It happened when Freddy moved him to lock (and fulback lol). It happened at the start of this year when the Roosters hadn't throw millions his way.

The story will be written by Rebecca wilson ("Bwaiffs mothers best friend) and will focus on how the prodigious youth could not live up to the lofty expectations that his amazing debut elicited. Jealousy directed alot of flak from fans and players alike but 10 years on Bwaiff is sill here and they're not and he's yet to produce his best. The story will mention his father passing and his charity work and his love for his girlfriend. NOWHERE WILL THE STORY ASK THE KEY QUESTION........bWAIFF...ARE YOU CRAP?

He's a lock these days...but is filling in at 5/8 and as goal-kicker.

He didn't throw that stupid forward pass, that was Pearce.

He didn't lose the ball in a tackle, that was that rookie replacement.
He didn't drop that pass cold that Mini threw him in the second half, that was BJ.
He didn't try to barge over the goal line and waste a tackle, that was piggy.
He didn't stand around watching the ref and let a try in, that was Myles and Friend.

He's not the coach planning and drilling any running onto the ball at pace moves.

Actually he is a second rower. Myles is the lock. His stats in both positions do not warrant jersy flegg selection.
And you are correct in the analysis.......he didn't

Myles is too slow for a lock?

You have to look hard to find the good things Braith does. Yes he chased one kick really hard last night when no one else did, but creativity is not his bag. He doesnt tackle like a Rikko, not aggro like a morley, doesnt have a step like a Fiittler, not an inspirational Captain like anyone else, not a goal kicker like Fitzy, doesnt make many metres a game..... what does he add to the teams chance of success ?? I would say next to nothing!! Surely he should be the first one dropped. Save face Smithy, put him on the bench and play him 16 minutes like Riddell and we'd be better off !!

Yep. Daylight between Carney and Anasta at 5/8th. Trying to find another position for Anasta is futile because he doesn't have the workrate to justify a 2nd row position, and doesn't have the speed to justify a centre position.

Keeping him at 2nd row is simply a justification for his excessive pay.

This guy needs to put in or piss off. He is death-riding Carney in the hopes of retaining the 5/8th position.

We've paid him over $2M for one field goal and......oh some leadership to our young brigade.

We let Fitzy (a true club stalwart) go when he had little left to offer. Anasta is beyond little left to offer.

We were in the gutter, on and off the field.

The "New Attitude-New Beginning" [sponsors were walking away, remember?] wagon rolled along well last year...with Anasta as the leader.
It isn't all about that field goal, but all about keeping the lurching wagon on the trail this year, without a fit Carney, and without losing any sponsors...as the least achievement.

He kept the team calm last year in matches, and we won games that we would otherwise have lost like the year before....and we played in the Grand Final.

Sign a better player after his current contract is up if you can find one, if there's one on the market.
Appoint a better captain if you can find a squeaky-clean one.

Nothing will change unles the attack improves immensely.

The only way that will change is if Anasta gets rid of the illusion that he is a 5/8.

I think Bondi-Boy might be Braith, how else could you not see all the passes he throws to noone, or are so slow and telegraphed, the stupid kicks he puts in (either his kicks out on the full, his grubbers that usually end up with the opposition running the length or his crap nothing bombs), his general lack of leadership (i.e. leading by example) and his amazing ability to go MIA.

Ive supported this bloke in the past but enough's enough even for me. Sodomite may be a cock smoker, but Anasta is crap!

Just dont bring up the fact we should have signed Barrett all those years ago.

It was idiots like you who. blinded by Greek love, saw off Soward. That Jesey Flegg side had 2 prodigious junior halves, soward and lewis. Neither were given any real chance to deveop at the senior level. Lewis is now in the dustbin in France. Soward is winning premierships. Ansat , the next freddy, is sitting on a 5 year marquee salary hat has effectively killed off junior development. Right now Symonds should be 6. But how to publicly admit that your captain and your highest paid player s exchangeable for a humble junior

What a joke Anasta is, and how foolish a decision a it was to resign this fraud

The novice William Zillman is classes ahead of this joke as a player

Has the slug even signed the farkin contract yet?

Wasn't there a chance of the team being "de-stabilised" if this embarrassment didn't get an offer before the season started?

Withdraw the farkin offer and piss him off to Newtown for 18 long weeks
