Worst halves combo I've ever seen.
Ned catic and justin holbrook weren't much chop in the one game they played for us.

Its a game we should win easily, which most of the time means we will somehow figure out a way to lose.

Having said that I still think we'll win, and fairly comfortably. The Titans injury toll is ridiculous.

        I don't remember.

        And I'm glad.

Catic played a few games for us in 2004.

He was my first tryscorer pick.

In the Anzac Day game he scored a fair try that was disallowed. I had $200 at $91 on him.

          I was crushed.

Funnily I later gave him the ticket. He could not believe someone bet on him. They even put the ticket on the board in the clubhouse for a while.

I'm more worried about the $6.00 that the Titans are on...hopefully no-one goes the full Pete Rose.

On NRL360 tonight they said JWH was back in. But to be honest with the Bye coming up it is smarter to rest him. Especially with Sam back and the young guns causing damage.

Catic played quite a few games, including the 2003 and 2004 GFs.

After Upupcronulla and Penrith, the Titans are our third bogey team. I hate playing them. Whether they are missing players or not, whether we are in form or not, we always seem to struggle against them. They play the same, niggling, boring style of footy as the sharks and we never seem to know how to handle this. A definite danger game.
Oh and our record at Gosford (when we take a home game there) is abysmal.

Roosters by a cricket score. Now's the time to shine.

While I agree we should towel them, we should prepare for a sh!tty performance.

We've been burnt too many times.

I think it's more than possible they don't get up for the game.

                          But I expect them to.

They won't be taking their foot off the pedal this time.

I'm not saying I hope the Roosters turn up for this game. I'm saying, they BETTER turn up for this one. Honestly, after that Sharks game, there shouldn't be any hint of complacency. Give us tough, well put together footy, not trying to score off every set.

Its high time the players started getting into the good habits we're going to need at the back end of the season when we take on the Cowboys, Broncos, Rabbitohs and any other club coming into good form. I'm talking about defending well for the entire game, even if we're well ahead on the scoreboard. Keeping teams to nil like we did in 2013, We've gotta get back that awesome defense that we had when we won the comp. Don't do what the Broncos did tonight and let the opposition back into the game after taking a big lead.

Its also important that we really turn it on in offence. After watching the Broncos last week, it goes without saying that our attack is going to have to be spot on when we take them on again around round 24. There is an excellent defense waiting for us in that round, and potentially in the finals as well. The key to breaking down that defense is going to be perfecting our attack in games like this.

We've had a bit of mixed record against the Titans, and there is a bit of talk that they are playing for their season this Sunday. Personally, I don't like the Titans, there a shit stain of a footy club that only exists because the NRL haven't got the balls to put a second club in Brisbane. I hope we put there season to sleep this Sunday.
